Nothing gets added. Nothing gets lost.
No second screen on the dash, no wire down the pillar, no aftermarket plastic. Your Jeep was engineered as one system, and the double-DIN that fits the hole has never heard of the rest of it. This does not go in the hole. It goes behind the screen and leaves the system intact.

Fitment is decided by the head unit behind your dash, not the badge on the boot. Two identical-looking cars from the same year can have different systems depending on trim and where they were sold, which is the entire reason we ask for a VIN instead of taking your word for it.

This fit needs a vehicle-specific harness
Some hosts need a different adapter loom depending on where the head unit physically sits in the car. The supplier lists harness J1, J2 for this module. We work out which one your car takes from your VIN and include it in the box. You do not order it separately and you are not charged extra for it.
